Why Printers Use Jigs

Without a jig, printing on 3D objects would be a nightmare of manual alignment and wasted ink. Here is why they are essential:

• Precision & Consistency: It ensures the artwork is centered and aligned across an entire batch.

• Speed: You can "load and go." Once the jig is set up, the software knows exactly where the items are located.

• Irregular Shapes: Printers are designed for flat surfaces. Jigs allow you to print on spheres, cylinders, or recessed surfaces by holding them level.

• Mass Production: Modern UV flatbed printers often use large jigs that hold dozens of items at once, allowing for "one-click" batch printing.  This turns your printer into an ROI factory.
