Design Study
Do you have a product with non-standard geometry requiring a custom fixture, or an existing legacy jig failing to meet tolerance requirements? We specialize in resolving complex mechanical interfacing and positioning challenges that traditional "off-the-shelf" solutions cannot accommodate.

The Design Study Framework
A Design Study is a formal, paid Research & Development (R&D) engagement designed to mitigate technical risk for complex custom jig and fixture projects. This process ensures that the final production hardware meets your exact specifications for repeatability and precision.
During the study, our engineering team will:
Iterative Prototyping: Develop and stress-test multiple functional prototypes to validate mechanical fit and clearance.
Root Cause & Stress Analysis: Analyze specific design bottlenecks, such as part deflection, thermal expansion, or kinematic constraints.
Technical Documentation: Maintain a comprehensive log of the testing lifecycle, supported by high-resolution imagery and video analysis.
Engineering Report: Deliver a finalized technical report, technical validation and data-driven recommendations for full-scale production.
Overcoming Your Complex Print Challenges
Where others see obstacles, we see opportunities for innovation. To ensure the highest quality for specialized surfaces or complex engineering requirements, we recommend a preliminary Design Study. This strategic approach minimizes risk and optimizes the path to fabrication.
